THE ROLE
The main responsibilities will be:
- Process accounting entries in the system promptly and accurately
- Ensure timely invoice payments and raising bills for collection
- Liaise with clients on receivables and take follow-up actions for outstanding debts and bills
- Process staff expense claims and other internal administrative billings
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation, payroll, AP/AR reports for review by Finance Manager
- Perform calculations to produce analysis and reports as requested by the Finance Manager
- Ensure proper maintenance and filing of documents
- Any other duties as and when assigned
THE ESSENTIALS
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Finance
- Strong fundamental accounting knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and comfortable with numbers
- Proficient in MS office suites particularly Excel
- Able to communicate well in verbal and written form in English
- Pro-active, able to work in teams and independent at the same time with the ability to prioritise time, tasks and deliverables
- Fast learner, positive, self-motivated, eager to learn, with good track record of performance and integrity
